FlowCraft Offer Countdown

A countdown for offers that really end. This demo gives you your own 24-hour window from your first visit: refresh the page and it carries on, and when it reaches zero the offer is replaced by an "Offer ended" message that stays. It runs the same app.js that comes with the paid component.

  1. Refresh the page. The countdown carries on from where it was. It doesn't start again.

Built to be honest

Urgency that's real

Timers that quietly restart, or deadlines that never actually arrive, are treated as deceptive by consumer-protection regulators such as the US FTC and the UK CMA. The Offer Countdown is built so the clock only ever shows a real end.

  1. No quiet restartsA personal window is saved in the visitor's browser. Refreshes and new tabs continue it, and once it ends it stays ended.
  2. Real dates for real salesSwitch to a fixed deadline for "ends Sunday at midnight", and add a hard stop so no window runs past the end of a campaign.
  3. The exact end time, shownVisitors see when the offer ends in their own time zone, and the code disappears when it does.

One more step for you: a browser timer keeps the page truthful, but anyone can clear their browser data. Give the discount code the same expiry date in your checkout, so the deadline is honoured everywhere.

The clock is recalculated from the real time on every tick, so it never drifts, and it catches up instantly when a background tab comes back. Screen readers hear the time left once a minute, not every second.

Requirements

  • A real offer and deadline. Only show a countdown for an offer that genuinely ends when the timer says, and set the same expiry on your discount code at checkout.
  • Any web host, or none. The page also works when index.html is opened directly from your computer.
  • A form endpoint to receive leads (optional). Any service that accepts a JSON POST, for example Formspree, Make or Zapier. Until you add one, the quote form sends nothing and says so.
  • An internet connection for visitors. Tailwind CSS loads from its public CDN. No npm install or build step.
